Stop taking the pill with online medical guidance
At Hormonic Care, a licensed physician supports you via video as you go off the pill, from preparation to the first cycles afterward, for 119 to 599 euros depending on the scope. If your period does not return after more than three months, this should be medically investigated; your gynecological practice will handle ultrasounds and physical examinations.

What does the physician clarify before and after stopping?
In a review of nearly 15,000 women, around 87 percent of former pill users became pregnant within a year, regardless of the duration of use (Girum and Wasie 2018). If your cycle remains absent, it is worth looking for other causes. This is what the support focuses on:
- Why you were prescribed the pill: Symptoms such as acne, severe menstrual cramps, or irregular cycles may return afterward.
- How to track your cycle afterward and what is normal in the beginning.
- When an absence of your period should be investigated and which tests are useful, e.g., pregnancy test, TSH, prolactin, FSH, LH, and androgens.
- When a hormone panel is meaningful, as your levels while on the pill do not reflect your natural cycle.
- Whether checking folate, vitamin B6, and B12 levels is sensible, as these have been measured at lower levels while on the pill in studies. If you are trying to conceive, folic acid is recommended even before pregnancy.
- Which hormone-free contraceptive options are available; IUDs are inserted by your local practice.
